A group of friends hold weekly dinners to which each person must
bring an idiot. The goal is to see who can bring the biggest idiot to each
dinner. They must look for a new idiot each week - either through idiot-hunting,
luck or with someone else's help.
We rented this French movie (English subtitles). I believe it came out last year but it sounded interesting. We were not disappointed (except the standard reading subtitles requirement disappointment). Anyway, we follow one regular dinner attendee along his search for an idiot, whom he eventually finds on his commute home by coincidence. Unfortunately, the attendee injures his back and never make the dinner but that doesn't prevent the idiot from doing idiotic things...unfortunately, they are aimed at the dinner attendee; how ironic. Very funny movie. I highly recommend it.
