The main dude starts out as a brave warrior in charge of a Roman
Army. After the emperor dies and his son takes the throne, the main dude's
life changes. His family is killed and he is forced to flee to save his
life only to end up a slave and forced to fight for his life...as a
gladiator. The movie goes on about him fighting towards an opportunity for
revenge and in the process, restoring leadership of Rome in the proper hands of
the senators.
This movie was good; it had lotsa fighting, subterfuge, stealth...go see it.
